Our PCBA Capabilities

Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Assembly

Our core-expertise stems from our extensive knowledge of SMT Assembly, with an emphasis of building it right the first time. We perform a rigorous first article inspection to ensure polarity, component alignment, and accurate placements meet your expectations before proceeding with full-scale manufacturing. AEM has recently upgraded our facility with a brand new, state-of-the-art SMT line from a reputable Japanese manufacturer. The Juki RS-1R was chosen as the centerpiece of our SMT operation, achieving component placement speeds of up to 47,000 CPH per head, while remaining flexible throughout all aspects of our day-to-day operations. Product changeovers are seamless, with the support of removable spare trolleys, preparation for our next build is done simultaneously. Once boards have completed SMT population, the boards are transferred in-line to our multi-zone reflow oven, with temperature profiles configured to meet your design specifications.
